My FOUR “C”s

One thing I learned during my time in corporate America is that how is as important as what.

I am very intentional about how I approach diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Let’s be honest: DEIB is tough work. It forces us outside of our comfort zones in an effort to listen, understand and engage with people in new ways.

I approach every project with my four “C”s top of mind:

  1. COLLABORATION | I know that I don’t have all of the answers. (Who does?!) But I am adept at working with clients and their teams to uncover solutions and work together to implement them.

  2. CREATIVITY | If we do things the same way, we will get the same results. Fresh ideas and out-of-the-box thinking are critical to sparking change. And innovation is accelerated when diverse perspectives are welcomed at the table.

  3. COURAGE | When I reflect on impactful people throughout history, they are the ones who were brave enough to stand up and speak up for what they believed in. I’m inspired by everyday heroes and renowned leaders alike, who don’t let fear stand in their way.

  4. CARE | Working towards meaningful DEIB outcomes means that I invest not just time and expertise into a project; I invest my passion into forging human connections. There is power in making people feel heard and valued.
